Parent-Child/ Carer Class
Our first aid and carer training programs are meticulously designed to be engaging and enjoyable for families, children, and domestic helpers. Our hands-on training ensures participants are adept at managing common emergencies and providing effective care in domestic settings. Our curriculum covers a broad range of essential skills, from handling minor injuries to performing CPR, making learning fun and interactive for both parents and children.
Parent-Child/ Carer First Aid Course
Contents:
• Fundamentals of first aid principles and safety practices.
• Recognizing and managing common injuries and emergencies in children.
• Basic CPR and AED use for adults, children, and infants.
• Techniques for managing choking incidents in various age groups.
• Practical skills for treating minor wounds, burns, cuts, and allergic reactions.
• Effective communication with emergency services during an incident.
Intended Audience:
• Parents, guardians, and children who want to learn essential first aid skills to ensure the safety and well-being of their families.
• Families interested in gaining practical knowledge and confidence in handling emergencies at home or in the community.
Course Length: 2.5 hours
Certification:
• Certificate of Attendance from AHA for both parents and children.

Caregiver/ Domestic Helper Home Care Course
Our comprehensive Home Care Course is designed for caregivers and domestic helpers, focusing on practical skills that ensure the safety and well-being of those they care for. This course provides essential knowledge and hands-on training to handle everyday challenges and emergencies in a home environment.

• Fundamentals of Home Care: Understanding the basics of providing effective and compassionate care in a home setting.
• First Aid Principles and Safety Practices: Learning essential first aid techniques to manage common injuries and emergencies.
• Personal Hygiene and Care: Best practices for maintaining personal hygiene and health of the care recipient.
• Medication Management: Safe administration and handling of medications, including recognizing and responding to potential side effects.
• Mobility Assistance: Techniques for safely assisting with mobility, including the use of aids and proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Nutrition and Meal Preparation: Understanding dietary needs and preparing nutritious meals tailored to specific health conditions.
• Effective Communication: Strategies for communicating effectively with care recipients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
• Managing Chronic Conditions: Practical skills for managing chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions.
• Emergency Response: How to respond to various emergencies, including fires, falls, and medical crises.
