First Aid Training: Why It's Important

Updated: Jan 9

First aid is an emergency medical treatment measure for the injured and sick in an emergency. Every minute, even every second, is crucial to the life and death of the injured and sick. According to statistics, in the case of cardiac arrest, the patient's survival rate will drop by 7% - 10% for every minute of delay in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. If effective first aid is not provided within 4 - 6 minutes, the brain will be irreversibly damaged due to severe ischemia and hypoxia.

Mastering first aid skills can not only save the lives of others at critical moments, but also add a guarantee to the safety of yourself and your family. Imagine that when a family member suddenly falls ill around you, or a friend encounters an accident at a party, you can calmly use the first aid knowledge you have learned to deal with it and buy them precious treatment time. This is a meaningful thing. Moreover, first aid training can also enhance our self-confidence and ability to deal with emergencies, so that we will no longer panic when facing emergencies.
